Calculators
Our calculators produce estimates from the inputs you provide and from default assumptions we document on each tool page. Results can differ from real-world outcomes because of shading, equipment, weather, tariff details, fees, financing terms, changes in law and other factors. We do not guarantee any result, saving, payback period or tax outcome. You are responsible for the inputs you choose and for how you use the results.
Accuracy and changes
We work to keep content accurate and current, and we cite our sources. Rules for incentives, taxes and net metering change, and we cannot promise that every page reflects every change on the day it happens. Each page shows when it was last updated. We may change, add or remove content at any time. If you find an error, please tell us through our corrections process.
